The first week long AMCI Convention was held in 1997 in Ezuku, then Vurra County in Arua District when Majority of the current Ministry Leaders were teenagers and largely in Secondary Schools.

Since then, the Conventions became the singular major home coming event where Ministry members, the body of Christ and God seekers from different denominational backgrounds and parts of this Continent convene for a week to spend time in the presence of God through prayer, worship, teaching and preaching of the word of God.

The Children’s convention was also developed to give the children a tailored experience in worship, prayer, and the word of God as they do various activities and play.
